Fujifilm X-T4 custom setting not resettable in raw files

Hey Community,

I am getting a little confused after installing the new 16.2.2.10 version. I am not sure if this was always the problem.

I created a custom setting in my Fuji X-T4 where I tried to simulate a Kodachrome 64 style. (e.g. Weak small graineffekt, color +2 etc.)

I thought that Capture One resets everything when I don't set Curve to "Auto" in Base Characteristics, but it doesn't. It somehow looks as if those settings still are "burned" or "baked" in the raw file and setting the Curve for example to "Provia" just "adds" Provia to the settings.

I have made three Pictures:

Photo 1: C1 Setting (Provia)

Photo 2: C2 Custom setting (The Kodachrome recipe)

Photo 3: C3 Another Custom setting

When I edit those Pictures in CO and set all three pictures to Provia (for example) each picture looks different as if the settings are baked in.

Note: Those are raw files.

Have I missunderstood something in the last years?
