Creation of folders

I created a new catalog (Catalogue 2023), following David Grover’s presentation entitled : Capture One Livestream  Solid strategies for better image organization. 

I then imported pictures specifying add to catalog, following the procedure: import command, and locate on my external hard drive were the folder that contains the picture is situated; import all the pictures (12). However, Capture One does not create a folder, as expected. 

In the section entitled Catalog Collections and in the subfolder called Recent Imports, I see an album indicating the date and time the pictures were imported, and all twelve pictures imported are included in this album.

However, looking at the other section below called Folders

I see an icon called In Catalog and under this icon there is nothing, a complete blank ! In other words, Capture One did not automatically create a folder that contains the pictures I recently imported (no icon of a file or album with file name and with pictures inside the folder). Following David Grover's presentation, we can see that a folder is created automatically when importing pictures. 

What did I do wrong ? Did a skip a command ? I am stuck and your help would be most appreciated.
