Nikon Z8 HDR merge mangles the colour of the output DNG
Hi team,
I'm often in C1 using the fantastic HDR merge with my D850 NEF files, but although the merge 'works' with my new Z8, the colour balance gets mangled on the way through, with the tint going off the chart magenta in the final DNG. I can use the eyedropper to approximate the required output colour but is not currently usable via sliders - if I touch tint the colour flies off into green.
Would be grateful for a quick fix, I appreciate the Z8 is a new file type...another for the list.
Many thanks

John de Garis As this isn't a feature request, I will move this post to the relevant general discussion topic. Are you on Mac or Windows?
Have you also reported this bug to our support team?

Thank you Jack, Windows.
No, I'll send a bug report now...

Hi John de Garis – follow this link to ensure you're filing it in the correct place: https://support.captureone.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=9771276605981 (sorry, should have included the link before)
I've now moved the post. :)

Thanks @..., I'd already submitted a bug report. Although a feature request it isn't, I quite like the thought that my verbalised issue would help the 'me too's out there rather than being hidden in the bug pipeline? I always check the faq's to see if someone else is suffering :-)

John de Garis Exactly why I've moved it to the more general software discussion topic – you should get a more varied response in here. I think the support team will be able to shed more light on a workaround or a fix version, though! I can't see any reports in your name, but it could also be a bug we have addressed in a later release.
The quickest and easiest thing to do would be to download the latest version here: https://www.captureone.com/en/account/download - and see if you have the issue in the latest version. If you do, you'll have to create a bug report.

I'm on the latest version thanks Jack.
