    Both issues sound strange.

One thing I didn't understand, for issue 2 you say "on the same specific files", and that "Other edits including... keywords etc are still in place.". Same files means same files as with issue1 or the same files are concerned evertime you close C1 or export but they are not necessarily the same files which loose the keywords?

Keywords: You mention XMP settings in preferences. Do you use XMP files? If yes can you explain more detail? And your settings.

Try menu File>Verify catalog or session, maybe this helps (but I suggest to create a nother backup prior to the verification).

Keywords issue has been resolved, still confusing issue. Basically I deleted one set of keywords and it deleted other keywords as well.

    Main Issue still unresolved.

To explain better. Certain .dng files, the same each time, revert back to 0 exposure settings on closing, as well as after export. The preview thumbnail looks normal for a few seconds then downgrades the edit back to 0 after a short lag. This strangely also happens when viewing after export on the .jpg files. Same files each time, I am now sitting on an unclosed catalogue for 3 days+ and have slowly gone through and re exported the files so they overwrite the problem .jpg's to the correct edit.

I have turned off Hardware accelleration and this seems to be exporting them properly. However the problem still remains, eventually i will have to close the catalogue and the edits will revert back to 0 on the same problem .dng's

I have tried verifying catalogue, restoring from backup, exporting catalogue, XMP suggestion was only when thinking that the issue has something to do with C1 storing information on the .dngs in the metadata which i had read in another forum.

    Very confusing issue.

    Thanks for your response

That sounds a little bit as if C1 reads something from the DNG and overwrites its exposure settings. Where are these coming from, Leica raw files?

But to tell the trutrh, I don't work with DNGs (other than those created by C1) so I have no idea. Let me suggest though to create a new thread wihn DNG in the title, others users working with DNGs are maybe more attracted then to look into it.
