New Camera: Raw files won't import
Bought new Fuji X-S20, now RAW files won't import. Argghhhh...
Is my Desktop Pro CapOne v 22 a wasted purchase now, or is there some sort of upgrade process ?
Some days editing is more productive than others....

Well, one more question: do you know how one gets the loyalty discount applied ? I am, of course, 2 weeks beyond the 1 year mark.... :-)

No, I don't know. I did not upgrade since the licence policy change mess.
Maybe, 3 weeks back, it would have been substracted automatically via your licence management in your Capture One account. I would try to contact support, but don't hold your breath...

And before you upgrade, make sure (trial period) that there are no (new) bugs that bother you and no other degradation like insufficient performance etc. because you will only get service releases until the next minor feature release (e.g. 16.3) comes out.
They want to urge us into the subscription model.
What they achieved is that I looked elsewhere and even bought an alternative for contingency, plus I made myself familiar again with the newest version of my preferred open-source alternative. Speaking about this, btw., reminds me that I haven't tried them all yet...EDIT: But yeah, from what I've read, with Fuji X-trans your choice might be limited for best image quality.
