How to relocate files if my external drive containing my source images fails
My catalog is set up to point to a specific folder in an external SSD which contains all of my RAW files. In the event that this SSD fails, I would try to connect a backup SSD with a copy of my RAWs. Presumably, I could then tell Capture One that these RAWs are the corresponding files for the catalog. When I tried to experiment with this, and unplugged my main SSD and put in an unrecognized backup SSD (with the same files copied to it), Capture One did not let me relocate any image to this new SSD (the locate function was greyed out). When I tried to search for this, the only thing that came up was relocating files from one folder to another in Capture One, which is all well and good, but if the main folder doesn't exist (as in the case of a drive failure), what am I supposed to do?

The locate function on the image level or folder level?
Maybe screenshots would be good.
