CO removes rating on random photos

I am a wedding photographer and shoot lots of business events as well, so i usually dont spend too much time going over my selections. My workflow ususally consists of making a 2* selection immediately after the job, apply my Style, then edit the photos the following days.

I noticed that, after an update in Juli 2023 almost all of my wedding clients had missing photos in their galeries. At first I thought it was my error, having taken too little time selecting pictures and skipping some group photos or simply deselecting photos by accident. After checking the selection again, CO seems to just randomly deselect photos completely and removes an already applied filter.

I can tell by some photos having the 3 stripes on the bottom right corner on the thumbnail, indicating they have had a filter applied before. Some of these photos i would never ever leave out of any selection.

After reinstalling CO multiple times now and deleting all the files manually I still have the same problem... The only solution I have for now is to move the 2* photos to another folder. This really messes up my workflow, since i sometimes need to replace photos or look for a better shot...

Has anybody experienced anything similiar or am I just doing something wrong?
