Import does not work

When I try to import photos on the iPhone 11 iOS 17.0.1 with the latest Capture One mobile using the original Apple SD lightning card reader: I can select the photos I would like to import, but then when I press import nothing happens. The workaround works. Importing photos into IPhone Film roll first. What can I do to fix this? Thank you for any hints.
