Horrible laggy performance when drawing Annotations on CR3 files

Capture One 23 (all versions of 23, I have right now the latest one 16.2.5.9) has a huge problem with performance once you start drawing a few annotations. For sure it's happening with the CR3 from Canon R5. Never happened that in other versions of Capture One.

It's horrible, you can hardly draw a mask or view 8 images at the same time in the Viewer while zooming them, it moves everything super super laggy: the images, even the interface.

Disabling hardware acceleration doesn't help with that. The only help is never using annotations tool, so that's not a solution in a professional workflow.

I think theres some bugs regarding that Annotations tool, even when you export a PSD with the annotations (few lines drawing) the PSD is almost double the size :-O

Please correct that because it is a serious bug.

Im using a Macbook Pro M1 Pro with 16 GB of Memory and 1 TB SSD (the local one).

All this huge impact on performance ONLY happens when starting drawing few annotations.
