Subject / Background mask creation progress dialog: Make it non-blocking so I can continue to work with C1

What problem do you see this solving?
If I create AI masks for many images it can take a lot of time. I want to continue working with C1 on either the same images (e.g. keywording, or even image layer adjustments), or at least on other images, it not possible to work on the same images.

When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool?
yesterday. When I import images (or work on new images in a session) I want to create the AI masks in the background task so that I m not blocked working. .

Are you using any workarounds or other solutions to achieve your goals in Capture One?

  It would be nice, but when C1 creates AI masks the cpu is 100%.

  Yes, some users want fully utilized hardware (mostly GPU though).

  Since Windows95 I prefer multitasking and some headroom left for other processes and be able to work on other things.

  This having said, with Windows 3.1 where no multitasking was possible my AI (neural network) learning processes have finished much earlier than with Windows95 or even my Unix machine quota in the university. Quite some time ago...
