The issue with ReTether for Nikon D810

The ReTether feature sometimes works, and other times it does not. Often, upon reconnecting, it transfers only a few photos, while the rest remain on the camera's memory card. I'm wondering if anyone has experienced a similar problem and how it can be resolved.
