wired tethered shooting not working with canon eos R5c and unable to get adequate support

What problem do you see this solving?

I can't tether shoot wired have done everything I was told to do by support got new cables updated all firmware, updated all software, removed any other tethering software including canon utility but still not working.

I haven't heard back from support after the initial response I assume was a bot.

When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool?
its been happening since november and now considering canceling and going with the tether tools software

Are you using any workarounds or other solutions to achieve your goals in Capture One?
the only way to tether at the moment is to shoot with wireless tethering which is very slow as raw files from R5c are large files. its not adequate speed as client monitors are always behind and have to wait for the laptop to catch up
