Export does not include correct (all) Clarity adjustments
16.2.6. Win 10. Sony ARW raw, tif, dng import behave the same. Problem: Clarity adjustments for the different method choices (classic, neutral, etc), do not render properly completely in the exported image. I consider this a C1 defect and will report it as a "bug" unless someone has an idea or workaround.
Try it yourself to see what I mean> Open a test image. Reset it to default/no adjustments if needed with all sharpening settings to default/none. Adjust the Clarity: In the Clarity panel, move the Clarity and Structure sliders to very high or low levels say 100% + or - each in the base image or as a filled variant for the entire image. Adjustment looks as expected in C1. Export the image (tif or jpg without any output sharpening settings). Compare the rendered export image side by side with the on-screen C1 image. Notice the difference. Export does not render Clarity settings the same or barely as much as shown on C1 screen.
Repeat the test with a second pass (add a filled adjustment on the entire image and move sliders v high or low effectively doubling the clarity adjustment). Notice the clarity onscreen C1 is even more dramatic as expected but the exported tif/jpg etc basically ignores the clarity adjustment rendering nearly as no clarity was applied.

Don’t expect an update to 16.2 to fix this.

Ok, so what version is it or will it be fixed?

I don't work for Capture One so I can't say. 16.3.4 is the current release. Check the release notes for the releases after your version to see if it is mentioned.

Also consider turning off hardware acceleration and see if that remedies it. You may need to rebuild your acceleration kernels. There are instructions here on CO's web site to force CO to do that.

Thanks for the comments.
I checked release notes before I posted and saw no reference to the problem.
Hardware accel. is turned off. I turned those on (then back off) as part of my tests. No symptom changes.
I will review the KB article you mentioned.
I should have mentioned that this problem existed in versions prior to 16.2 Sorry to say I dont remember what version I first noticed it but I think it was also in 20. I'll also mention that I have done total remove/reinstalls, as well as version upgrades like 20 --> 23 with no changes in symptoms.
It would be nice to hear from others on lower and higher like 16.3, and a subscription model user, if they as well observe the same behavior.

Walter Rowe - I think you meant to say 16.4.3, not 16.3.4.

KB article recommendations did not help or did not apply.
There were 6 ..\ImageCore versions I deleted. Some back to 13.x Did not help.
There are no vendors under ...OpenCL -> Vendors
Hardware acceleration is set Never\Never
If interested: I'm using Nvidia Quadro P1000 video card via display port to Eizo ColorEdge CG2420. Not using add-on USB color profiling to the Eizo, just the built in calibration sensor. PC is dedicated photo edit apps only, HP Win 10 Pro, Intel Core i7-8700 3.2Ghz, 16Gb RAM
