Assigning Keyword from Keyword List via Keyboard-Shortcut?
Hello,
I mostly take pictures of friends&family. Later on I assign a keywords like "Person A" and "Person B" in case they are part of the photo I've taken.
Is there any way to assign keywords using shortcuts so that I don't have to type "Person A" all the time (or need to select it from the keyword list)? Using multi-select and assigning keywords to all selected photos doesn't really help as I want to assign the keywords while culling.
I'm using the Windows version so AppleScript won't help me ☹️
Thanks,
Andreas

Hi,
answering to myself and maybe someone else finds it useful.
I found an interesting solution. Here are my steps:
* assign the keyword for "Person A" to a photo
* save as a user preset; use naming scheme "A-...", "B-...", ... 'Z-..."
* repeat this for all the persons I want to have keyboard shortcuts for
Now it's possible to use keyboard navigation by holding down ALT key like so
* A(djustments) -> S(tyles) -> U(ser Presets) -> K(eywords) ->A
* this will assign the keywords saved beforehand in preset "A-..." to the photo
Doesn't sound convenient to press that many buttons let alone recall all of them.
But 😊 I own a Logitech G13 which I can use to program key sequences. I programmed the above key sequences on some of the buttons of my G13 and can assign now my most frequently keywords with a single button press on the G13 😊
