Import from a card with "old" Images (backup)

i did some search effort but i could not find anything useful (if you can find something, please post a link to the topic)
i switched from LR to C1 recently but i worked with C1 in a quite early stage already...
What i need from C1 is to recognize the already imported images on the Card because i do not erase the card as long as its not full (for backup reasons...) so everytime i insert the card C1 imports all the pictures, also the already imported ones...
Is there any way around that except checking in the finder which picture bla bla bla and then select the not imported ones??
i just want to flip a switch like in LR and see only the not imported files on the card in the import dialog... pretty please? 馃槃
