Filter - "date is on" does not work

dear all,

I'm new to capture one, bought a Sony camera and started working with Capture One, as it looks impressive having all the things I could ever need from this kind of SW.

Strange behavior: A smart album filtered with filter on dates it does not return any photo's.
If I change this to 2 lines
date is after followed by a date is before, (2-days apart from each other) and both selected and match all rules, results in the right set of photo's.

I only have this issue with filtering ON DATE. All other filtering works, as wel as the filtering on date via the Library menu.

So sufficient work-arounds, but is there anything wrong with the DATE ON?
