    Capture One doesn't do this and as far as I can recall (back to version 4) it never has.

    What you may remember is the overlay facility. That just allows you to align your image with another (for instance to adjust the crop to fit the artwork for a magazine cover). But it can't combine the two images into a composite. You'd need something like Photoshop or Affinity Photo to do that.

    CO is definitely the wrong app when looking for merging and stacking images. It isn't designed to do it. And it doesn't have the tools do create the 'usual' merges and stacks.

    But...

    Technically speaking, you can make a simple overlaying stack using the watermark tab in the process recipe.
    A very creative way to use it, and I'm sure it isn't made for this. But it can actually do a good job in giving images a certain 'look'.

    Thanks guys, I really appreciate your feedback.
    I could have sworn that I had created a multiple exposure shot using this method in a much earlier version of CO but I will certainly give that watermark a go Hans, thanks!
