Monitor
Hi,
I'm not a professional but love spending time on taking and editing photos (using probably no more than 5-10% of the available features...). I use a Nikon D850 (with various Nikkor prime and zoom lenses) and run CaptureOne Pro12 on Windows 10.
My current monitor is no good. For the purchase of a new monitor, I try to strike the right balance between useful/cost-effective and nice to have/unnecessary expense. As part of that thinking process, the question of sRGB vs. Adobe RGB arises. The new printing service that I intend to I use for my pictures and albums is using Adobe RGB - which means that it probably makes sense to move from sRGB to Adobe RGB for camera, monitor and ICC profile for soft proofing.
Curious to see if somebody has thoughts on my short list below.
Thanks much,
Arne
