B&W image and some colour objects

I have a colour image of some boulders. The boulders I would like to leave in colour the rest of the

image I would like in B&W.  Is it possible to do this in Capture One 20 ? If so how?

  Make a filled layer, remove the saturation on that layer and mask the rocks.

  Sorry I’m new to CO20. I have the filled layer. The screenshot is all red. Now what exactly do I do next to Accurately mask the boulders. This must be extremely accurate.

  I have no idea what your picture looks like so there's really no way I can tell you what you need to do.

  However, if the screen is red, you're showing the mask. Press the "M" key on your keyboard to hide the mask, then press "E" to get the Erase brush and start painting where you want the layer below to show.

  You can right-click with the Erase Brush to get attributes of the brush to show up -- change the size, hardness etc.

  Hopefully, that's enough to get you started.
