Organizing photos

I am having extreme difficulty organizing images. I have been using lightroom and find it is really easy.

First problem: I accidentally deleted folder and when I tried to import again, keep saying is exist in catalog but I don't see anywhere. I closed program and restarted and tried again, it let me import but now it created another problem which is explained in next paragraph but for this problem for future any solution?

So I imported images and was moving around some images, some of them don't move when I drag and drop. I think import also shows now two images, so not sure if I am seeing image from first import as well. I don't know why it is happening and It keep saying image offline even folder exist there. please help me.

is there way to delete folder when you delete from "folders" in library section? I am not fan of smart album because managing is definitely useful but create problem in future if plan to move to different software.

Thanks for reply. I deleted whole catalog and import and started all over. It is pain in b***. You can't delete folder once you move all images to different folder when organizing. you have to physically go to location in disk and delete it. I hope it get easy. Same with creating folder.

@Walter Rowe, I have been subscribed to already. You tutorials are really helpful.

I still feel that they need to implement deleting folder when I delete from Light room, so that way I don't have to go back to physical location in drive and delete those unnecessary and empty folder. I hope they implement organizing features more in detail in next update. They are minor tweaks but goes long way.
