Moving pictures from one session to another completly

    So you had images in Session A. I suppose that Session A was closed and session B was open;  I think you then moved the image files to another OSX folder.  But Capture One had no idea which other sessions the images were part of, so the database for Session A did not get updated. The images could also be part of other sessions which have not been open for some time.

    Now you open Session A, and the Capture One is looking at the Session A database and saying "hmmm some files are missing from the expected folders"

    To do otheerwise would mena that when moving files, Capture One should search the entire disk space for sessions which might contain the image files being moved; this could take a long time and turn into a real mess in certain circumstances.

    I think it is up to the user to say "Yes, these are the images that I moved, so I will delete them here"

    Not in the whole database. Capture One could look only in the session folder. If they are missing there it could ask the user to search for them or just to delete them all (the previews). Considering the extent of the program I thought there is such a function and it is just me who doesn't know how to manage it. Well, okay. If it is the only way to delete them manually – that is what I did now. Thanks for help!
