text size (of sliders, etc) so small
Is there a way to make the text size/sliders bigger??
I upgraded versions of C1 as well as got a new 27in iMac- and I'm not sure which contributed to the issue, but now when I use C1 the sliders and text are so condensed it's hard to read it and pull the sliders accordingly.
I have to be doing SOMETHING wrong---?? Is there a way to adjust this so I don't have to try to edit with a magnifying glass?

The text size has not changed since Version 4, but I suspect the screen of your new iMac is higher resolution than what you were using before, thus rendering everything smaller on screen. 0 -
Hello Jon,
I believe that the icons in the Tool's tabs are smaller in version 6 than in version 5 (I'm referring to such icons as Reset Adjustments, Auto Adjustments, Local Copy and Apply, etc...).
Also, although it has been a persistent feature request to have larger sized fonts in certain dialogue boxes, such as the "New Session" dialogue box, since version 4, this request has gone unanswered. While some may consider this a mere quibble, insofar as there are few font-size constraints weighing on this dialogue box makes it hard to understand that this request has been ignored.
Given the increasingly high resolution of today's screens, particularly the matte screens of MacBook Pros, I believe it would be worthwhile to take these UI parameters into consideration.
Capture One Pro v6 offers some significant enhancements to an already excellent program, and the above remarks are not intended to detract from the unmistakable achievements it realizes. Naturally, being able to make conversions into 16-bit smart-objects layers would make it better. This would afford the possibility, much as in Camera Raw, of returning to Capture One to tweak image adjustments and then come back to Photoshop to continue to work on an image. But that is another story.0 -

Hi Ralph, I think the icons in the tool's title bar may look smaller because there are more icons, but are the same size when comparing CO5 and 6. I made a few screen dumps.
CO 5.2.1:

CO 6.0.1:

When I open the screen dumps in an editor, they mach to the the pixel.
Your smart-objects layers issue deserves a separate thread (and a feature request if you have not done already so) IMO.0 -
Hello Paul,
First, best wishes for the New Year.
Second, I have submitted multiple requests for this feature (smart objects) and independently started a thread.
Third, I guess that visual memory is deceiving, but nevertheless do still feel that increasing the sizes of the icons I referred to would not be a bad idea.0 -

Thanks Ralph, best wishes to you as well. I second your other statements and I had a dimmed recollection about your smart objects ideas but was not sure. Now I am.0 -
Thank you-
I did decrease my resolution and that helped quite a bit.
At least now I don't feel I have to edit with a tweezers to pull the sliders.
A little larger icons/etc WOULD be helpful in my opinion.0
