Delete several images

Hi, i cant delete more than one image at once.
when i select several images with shift, i have on image with a big white outline ant the others with a smaler outline.
if i press or select "delete" it only deletes the one with the big outline..
what can i do to delete several images at once?

software is 9.3 for sony

  Is "Edit All Selected Variants" checked?

  But its awkward.. because the "name" of this options belongs to variants but effects images.

  Variants and images are interchangeable terms for the same thing in most contexts with C1 as an application.
