Request for future updates
Hello Capture One Pro team,
I just want to tell you that after almost 10 years Lightroom experience I finally switched to Capture One and there is a 98% chance to stay with it, unless Adobe comes with something AMAZING in the quality of raw processing. Congratulations for this new product!
I have some proposal for new versions:
1. Please introduce a vibrance slider. I know that you can edit the saturation of each color in particular via selection mask or with the color editor, but i think an intelligent vibrancy algorithm which protects skin tones an saturated colors like in LR with make sense.
2. I'm very disappointed with the noise reduction algorithm, unfortunately I must say that Lightroom or other 3rd party plugins do the job better then C1. Even you can use selection mask to select the regions of the image you want to "denoise" maybe you cold select them easier with a new tool based o luminance values (ex. I want to select only the shadows and highlights).
3. I would be useful to make backups based on tokens like you can export the images.
4. Maybe an option to create a slideshow as mpeg or other video file formats and also to add a music track would be much appreciated.
Keep up the great work, thank you guy for this AMAZING product.

This is a user to user forum. If you want to send requests to Phase One, file a support case (link in my signature).
Besides, in case you don't know, Capture One is not a "new product". It's been around far longer than Lightroom.
About the vibrancy slider, I think it was explained in a webinar that the saturation slider in Capture One already acts the same (i.e. protecting against over-saturation).0 -
Like John said, Capture One is far from "new" and the saturation slider is equivalent to Lightroom's vibrance. Pull it to 100 on a JPEG and you will be surprised how much tone preservation it does.
I had mixed results with noise reduction; but never used in Lightroom either.
There is an image rendering issue on version 10.1.x that I'm still trying to explain to support, which might be what you are seeing. (My ISO 400 and above images look horrible with the default sharpening settings)
Not sure what you mean by token backup.
About your 4th point, Capture One is not meant for "Digital Asset Management", so I doubt it will ever get that feature.0 -

Here is a screen recording that I sent to support today:
