Will upgrading R7 370 to GTX 1050ti improve preview speed
My PC uses an i7 8700K, SSD's and I have OpenCL working (according to GPU-Z), also the appropriate setting in preferences are set to AUTO. I would like to improve the speed of preview generation and I suspect my GPU (R7 370) is causing the relative slowness. Would investing in a much better GPU (GTX 1050ti for example) result in a marked improvement in preview generation?
I ask this as I am not sure if the GPU is used for this process or not. I am also using the very latest version of Capture One.

The performance difference between the R7 370 and the GTX 1050Ti isn't that huge, if you want something more future-proof you should look at a 1060Ti or 1070 - or the AMD equivalent. 0 -
