The limit is 100. The only way round it is to be a bit creative. You could deal with two spots close to each other as one, or you could use a heal layer for larger blemishes (not practical for many).

    100.

Are you removing spots or dust?

Realistically if you have more than 100 blemishes to address with correction you probably would be better to use something like Photoshop - a graphics editor rather than software that is primarily intended to be a RAW data file converter.

However to do that you would be creating another file - perhaps a TIFF or a jpg. If you wish to do more of the work in C1 you can still create an exported file ans then continue with whatever spot corrections are still required using that file.

If the original is a scanned image there may be some benefit in looking to specialised scanning software to undertake correction.

If the spots are consistently located sensor dust then using the LCC tool in C1 may be an option to consider.

    HTH.

Skin retouching. New to Capture One and trying to get a sense for just how much I can do in the application. Also, I would like to avoid Photoshop as much as I am able.

    Thanks for the replies!

For skin retouching, maybe you could try the Uniformity settings in Color Editor > Skin tone.
