In 8.3, chroma noise settings have no effect on exported fil
Since I updated C1 to 8.3, with noise reduction settings (Luminance 0, Details 100, Color 100, Single pixel 0), preview images do not have chroma noise anymore (as expected) but exported JPG files still have plenty. Did I do something wrong (I am new to C1), or is this a bug introduced with 8.3 version?

Could you perhaps share the details of your JPEG export or processing? 0 -
1/ Make noise reduction adjustments in the Details tab.
<-- no chroma noise on screen
2/ Select a Process recipes (format: JPEG, Open With: Preview).
3/ Process all selected variants.
<-- chroma noise in Preview0 -
I tested with Nikon NEF, exported to jpg and it was fine. 0 -

Exported into Apple Preview or to a file?
As described the problem puts me in mind of the "Preview" file I get from my Canon Printer driver during a print process. OK for checking positioning and generally seeing the the image looks like it has half a chance of printing OK but utterly hopeless for quality and detailed colour assessment.
As a Windows user I have no knowledge of what Preview can do with an image.

to a file and the opened in preview.
preview is a colour managed app, and usually pretty good.0 -

Thanks for that.
Sounds like the OP has something strange going on.
