Changer order of photos manually
I am considering the change from Lightroom to Capture one. I have been testing the demo and I am impressed with the responsiveness of the software on my Macbook Pro. Lightroom 3 has slowed down to a crawl and it has so much lag that it is now useless. I tried what all the LR gurus say to improve the speed of LR but no luck, which brings me to Capture one.
I like being able to work in sessions and i like the layout and all the processing feature, but one great omission, is the ability to move photos manually in the order I like. Is there anyway of doing that without having to use an external tool (bridge)?
I like to be able to use Capture one focus checker to be able to narrow down my picks. Then once I select my best shots, I have to be able to put them in the order that is logical to me to create web galleries and such. I find that it odd that such a powerful software had missed such a simple functionality. This is really an essential workflow deal breaker for me. Any ideas if this functionality is in the work for future release?

No such announcement known to me. In general Phase One does not make announcements like this. You can sort on rating and color tag as well a lot of other criteria in the browser. That order determines the web contact sheet. 0 -
One method that I have used to organize large projects is to subdivide images into separate folders that are placed in the Favorites section of a Session. This is not exactly what you are looking for, but it is a logical way to separate photos according to subject, location, style, etc. Overall, the advantages of Capture One would seem to outweigh this one disadvantage, but it will require you to adjust your workflow to some degree.
