(Best -- Noise Reduction Settings) In C1 4.8.x
Hey guys,
Ever since I updated to 4.8.1, now 4.8.2... ive noticed my D3 files at high ISOs have been looking mushy and water color like
Then i checked the Noise Reduction and Luminance Noise sliders and it seems they are much higher now by default than they used to be.
I keep setting them down to say 9 and 7, which is where I like ... I like a little noise.. I think the Nikon grain can look pleasing sometimes in the 1600-3200 range
Anyways... how do I keep it there. Everytime I open capture one the ZERO setting is always with the nosie reduction up high and sometimes forget to change it... and all the pics come out more mushy
Please let me know the best settings or how to change the default so i dont have to change it every time.. or a style setting, etc

Hi Phillip, you need to save your preferred setting as the default (under the arrow at the right) and optionally save it as a preset if you have different settings you use for different situations.

Ok, it seems easy to just save as a STYLE and then scroll down to each time.
Is that what you mean?
I would love some sort of default setting so its just saved in there.
Which (arrow to the right), do you mean ??

A style is the third option.
1st: new default
2nd: preset
3rd: style0
