    Definitely a conflict with an older version of Capture One 3.X install leaving junk behind.

    Opening a Case with Phase One was no help. It's going to take searching and deleting on the entire machine because it seems early versions of Capture One under Vista installed things all over the hard drive. The documentation and knowledgebase have no reference to these directories. I'm finding ProgramData\PhaseOne directories with *.lic files in them.

    Consider this thread closed.

    Your case with Phase One Support is still ongoing. Please remain patient as we identify the issue with your computers communication. Further correspondence should be dealt with through the case system in regard to this issue.

    Hi Andrew,

    I just resolved this issue with P1 support. In my case it was not a communication issue. I deleted the license.enc file and everything worked.

    Shut down c1, search your harddrive for lic*.enc and delete it. It should work for you.
