Masking and gradient tool missing
Hi,
I am new to capture 1 and have been watching a lot of the webinars (great info!). But, I do not have the mask tool in the toolbar and cannot find it anywhere else. I have capture 1 pro for Fuji - as I understand it should have all tools like the full-full version.
Please help a newbie 😊
Best regards,
Liv

If you mean the brush tool, that should be on the toolbar. If it isn't, you can right click the toolbar to bring up the dialog box to drag tools of your choice onto the toolbar. (The appearance of the brush tool icon varies according to the type of brush currently selected - so it might be a brush symbol, an eraser a gradient symbol or a radial mask symbol.)

Just to add to Ian's comment, the Layers tool can be found in a couple of the tool tabs (or can be loaded as a floating tool) and that contains access to and controls for the mask types and brushes.
If you are trying to change the settings for an active brush then right click should be one way to get there.
Is it safe to assume that you have activated C1 in Pro mode with the activation code? Express mode does not support layers so you would not see them ...
HTH.
