How to connect 1Dx via Lan-cable

hey guys,
can anyone explain me how to connect the canon 1Dx with Mac? It works fine via USB but i don't get it via Lan.
What do I have to do?

network issue?
Capture One issue?
my fault? 😊

Mac Book Pro
Mac OSX 10.6.8
Canon 1Dx

    Capture One and the Canon Software used within it, at this time does not support Ethernet Transfer.
    However, I would contact Canon to see how the ethernet connection actually integrates into the computer.

    For example we do not support ethernet connection with the Nikon D4 either, however that camera "Pairs" the ethernet communication between camera and computer. As a result the ethernet connection is actually treated by the computer and camera as a USB connection and thus Capture One communicates with the D4 via ethernet thinking it is connected via USB.
    Unless the Nikon Pairing fails, this D4 to Capture One over ethernet actually works quite well.

    Perhaps the same can be done with the Canon. Please contact Canon to clarify this.

    Hey Drew - has there been any progress in allowing the 1 DX to be tethered via Ethernet using C1? I just bought a body and struggling to find a way to work it without using EOS utility and hot folder.

    Maybe...
    We don't have one in-house to test but if it works the same as a Nikon D4 it's pretty simple.
    Create a support case and we can dig into it a bit.

    Just an update - I have contacted Canon directly and they have said I was the first one ever to mention such a problem, as well as to report the very slow transfer over Ethernet using EOS utility. I would suggest other users who would like to one day tether to capture one via Ethernet to do the same!
