Yes. If the folders you want to move them to already exist, the add the folders to the catalog. If not you'll have to create them in Finder first. Then just drag and drop them (within Capture One) from the Inside Catalog section to the appropriate folder(s) in the Library tool. Capture One will keep track of the new location of the files and won't forget the edits which are stored inside the catalog in either case.

You want to convert managed files in the catalog to referenced files outside of the catalog. While you can create a new folder in Finder, you will still have to add them to the catalog using the AddFolder tool (right click on In Folders or In Catalog list below the User Collections list and select Add Folder). This will take you to a Finder-like window where you can name and add the folder. You can select the location for that folder. That folder will then appear below the In Catalog image list as a folder in a tree structure as you would see in Finder. You can the drag images from the Catalog to that folder.

Doing this one folder at a time is a bit tedious. While, you can create all of the folders in Finder and then add them, you still have Add them one at a time.

When constructing folders, you may decide to delete one. Be sure to drag the images to another folder before you select Delete, or you will out likely end up dumping the images and references to them in the catalog.

Thanks for your help! I was making this hard. Fortunately, only my recent imports were in the catalog so this was painless.

    Thanks again.
