Archived captures open as Lores tiffs?
On several of my old jobs that have been archived to cd, when i copy the original capture files back onto the hard drive for reprocessing, they look very pixelated in C1 and the software won't allow me to do anything with them.
Shooting with a Lightphase into a powerbook.

If it is a G4 it might take a little time to generate the previews. Especially if there is many of them.
Down in the bottom right corner you can see how many previews are pending to be generated.
Just give it a little time and the images will show up.
We are working to speed this process up for a 4.x version of Capture One.0 -
hmmmm, i don't think that's it.
The machine I'm trying to open the captures on is a new dual core G5. They were shot originally with a powerbook G4. Also, there are only 5 captures in the folder. Some work fine, but 2 exibit the pixelated look and won't interact with the program.
The files have "tiff" in the upper corner instead of raw. They are defintly capture files, not processed images or thumbnails...0 -

If they haf TIF in the corner then that means that they are TIF files and not RAW files and in that case they might not have the resolution.
If you know for a fact they are a RAW files then they might be corrupted and only the tif header of the files are showing on screen. Please go to support.phaseone.com and create a support case and attach one of the files and we in support can do a verification of the file consitency.0
