Program will not launch without crashing
I am running Mac OS 10.5.8 on a Mac Dual 2.66 MHZ with 11 gig of ram.
When I start up Capture One, it does nothing for a minute and then I get the beach ball of death. I check in with Force Quit and it says the program is not responding, so I quit.
Has anyone else had this? I have a job to get out and I am in trouble if this won't go.
Thanks

That the application is "not responding" is not the same as it being dead. It just means that it is busy and is not responding to requests from the operating system. It is quite likely that it will recover.
Try waiting for a few minutes. This may occur if you viewed a large collection of images when you closed it the last time.
If nothing else works, try deleting the preferences in your user folder /Library/Preferences. The file to delete is called com.phaseone.captureone.plist.0 -
Thank you
I trashed the preference file, relaunched the program and it worked the first time!
You really helped me.
Thanks again
