Problem in CMYK working

    I have almost the same setup (CO5Pro, MacBook Pro, Eizo CG221 monitor) and run OS X 10.5.8. Calibrated the Eizo with ColorNavigator 5.3.0 but no problems.

    I suspect your Eizo monitor profile does not work correctly with CO5. Some ICC v4 profiles give problems (Phase One is working on this), sometimes it is the name of the monitor profile (non alphanumerical characters). What OS X are you on and what is your monitor calibration software and which version of CO5 are you using (5.0/5.0.1/5.0.2)?

    I have CO PRO 5.0.2 and Mac OSX 10.6.2

    My monitor is calibrated with ColorNavigator software with EyeOne display2 hardware.

    Should I change the profiles names? How can I do this?

    Color Navigator stores your calibration settings. The blinking green dot on the left side is indicating which profile is currently active. Now if you re-type the profile name in the setting in Color Navigator (right click on the active profile in the list) and aftwards click "apply" it will be set as the new monitor profile (containing exactly the same data as the current profile - you've just changed the name).
    Leave out blank spaces, dashes (take underscores) and only use regular letters and numbers.

    Yes, the naming convention (esp. with Color Navigator) may cause problems due to the internal name of the monitor profile in Capture One.
    However - if your images look okay in RGB I don't think it's the monitor profile - if C1 has trouble to read the monitor profile it won't create any useful previews at all - either way which output profile is set. However it's at least worth a try as it's done within a few seconds.
    On Mac Color Navigator only creates ICC V2 profiles, no ICC V4 profiles.
    Maybe, if your CMYK profiles are ICC V4 this could be the reason... try it with any older V2 CMYK profile.

    What you should also try is to delete the preview and the focus mask cache (so the files with the suffix "cop" and "cof" within the session folder->capture one->cache) prior to update your monitor profile and prior to restart C1.
    Many problems in C1 are related to previews created in former versions of C1 ... or even to previews created in the current version.
    You don't delete any settings by doing this - the previews will be recreated once you open the respective session/folder in C1 (it only takes some time to create them at the first time). Only make sure that you really just delete the *.cop and *.cof files.
