RAf File inporting
Hi... I'm an absolute newbie to Capture One and trying to get my head around it before switching from Lightroom completely. As a test, I've just imported a Raf fill from a previous wedding. I shot the wedding with both Jpeg and Raf files at the same time. When I import the Raf fills into Lightroom they convert back to colour as soon as they are imported but when they come into capture One they retain all the black and white information. How do I set it so the Rafs convert into colour ignoring the jpeg info>

OK.. that's great. Thankyou so much 0 -
This is a feature of Capture One. We support the exact filmstyles found in the camera.
As you have now discovered, they can of course be disabled.0 -

Hi - I am having this problem too, can you please tell me how to disable this for all imports? I would like all imports to be with the standard curve profile. Now I have to change it after import. Thanks!

I don't have a Fuji camera, so I can't check. But I would expect that what you can do is set one image taken with your Fuji camera to Film Standard (or whatever curve it is you want) then click on the ... on that tool and choose "Set as defaults for [your camera]".

As an alternative to Ian3's excellent suggestion if you do not want to set a default for the camera or if you regularly wish to use different defaults for different types of shoot, then you could set up your Base Characteristics variations as User Presets and selectively apply them when importing as required.
