Panasonic DMC L1 RAW files

Has anyone else solved the following problem :
I am trying to open RAW files from a Panasonic DMC L1 (not in the supported cameras list).

Here is the following exchange of e-mails with P1 support :

There is, but first they must be converted to DNG.

I have renamed all the files as "DNG", but they still do not appear (No images in collection).
What else should I do ??

Renaming will not work, the files must be converted in some other software such as photoshop.

I have tried to convert in CS2 (open via ACR, then save as Â« Photoshop RAWâ€), but to no avail.
Is there a way round this problem?

Hello,

Photoshop Raw (.RAW) is not the correct format. You need .DNG. you can save an image as DNG in ACR by choosing save image instead of open. Choos format: Digital Negative.

It works fine!

Now I can process both my M8 & L1 shots using the same workflow.
