TOGGLE BETWEEN PRIMARY & SELECTED VARIANTS

Hi is there a way to set up a shortcut to do this? The only option I see is "select primary variant only" & that's not the same. Thanks.

  There is a button on the toolbar for it (looks like 3 stacked rectangles) and the default keyboard shortcut for it on Mac is Shift+Cmd+E, so presumably Shift+Ctrl+E on Windows.

  Ian3 is correct.
  
  Have a look at the first line in the "Image" drop down menu.
  
  However can I ask what you wish do with your toggle activity since there may be a different purpose behind your question.

  Thank you both. I knew about the button but not the image menu choice. I just wanted to be able to toggle the button on & off with a shortcut as it is faster for me. However now I realize I probably can't toggle it on until i've made selections first.

  You can toggle it on and off whether or not you have made a selection.
