JPG Export / Hardware Acceleration Issues in Capture One Pro
Hi all, having some serious issues with exporting .ARW to .JPG. On every export, I get glitchy patches and boxes. Capture One is now unusable after long edit sessions. I've been looking at the different export issues people are facing, but yet to find someone with this one. Any ideas?

Specs: Capture One Pro v12.1.3, Windows 10 Home. Drivers up to date.
*Edit:
I disabled OpenCL hardware acceleration (processing) and this fixed the issue. Any way to get hardware acceleration back?

Please create a support ticket, and be sure to include your raw + settings (preferably in a .eip), as well as a full set of logs. 0 -

You probably have some sort of GPU driver issue going on either for one reason or another usually related to software updates by the operating system, the hardware vendor, a software provider or from some other source.
First thing is to make sure that C1 has been able to do its GPU assessment process fully and correctly and build the required kernel of code to allow it to work properly with your configuration and GPU specification. For that see the item above referring to the WINDOWS related section.
If that does not get you anywhere it may be that you need to update (or downdate in some circumstances) the version of the GPU's driver currently installed on your system. The best option for that would probably be to visit the GPU technology developer's web site and work through the process of finding the relevant driver for your GPU card.
This ought to be easy but sometimes it's not - it depends on the age of the GPU technology you have and the way the developer may have progressed developments for different purposes and then 'managed' the results in their software support pages. Or at least that is what I have experienced over the years.
HTH.

I had issues with a GPU driver update a couple of months ago where I'd get random blocks of darker image in some exported frames. Rolled back the driver and everything was fine after.
You don't say which GPU you're using, but might be worth rolling back the driver..0
