shooting tethered with Panasonic Lumix LX 100
Is it possible to shoot tethered using the Panasonic Lumix LX 100 and Capture One 8 on OSX?

Unfortunately there is no tethering available directly into CO8 for Panasonic cameras.. The generic workaround is to use another tool for tethering, and let CO8 monitor rhe folder with incoming images actively as Hot Folder. 0 -
Could you roughly outline a workflow that might work with the Panasonic Lumix LX-100? What additional hardware and software would I most likely need? 0 -

A quick search on Panasonic's support site seems to indicate that they don't offer any sort of tethering support for that model camera, which tells me that it won't be possible to shoot tethered with that camera with Capture One or anything else for that matter.
The fact is, it's a point & shoot camera and like most point & shoot cameras, unfortunately, it was probably never designed to be used tethered.
The closest thing I can think of that MIGHT work would be a solution like the EyeFi wireless tethered cards - but those are honestly unreliable at best and definitely not compatible with Capture One.0
