Tangent devices

Hi there,

I'm curious if it's possible to apply a specific style/preset with a button of a Tangent device. Can anybody tell?

  I have not specifically looked at that when I tested the Tangent devices, but I doubt.
  
  When you install the Tangent software, you should be able to see the mapping of actions to nobs, even without the devices connected, IIRC. This way you could check out what is possible.

  Yes... but its time consuming.
  
  

  • Set a shortcut to the menu item of the style using OS shortcuts
  
  
  • Set the Tangent button to "fake key-press" the shortcut
  
  
  • Repeat for the X styles you have.

  
  
  You will also probably need the alt function to shortcut "clear", if you are planning on using this to iterate through looks.
