Capture One PRO curves vs. Photoshop's
I just read the Capture One PRO 3.7.x user guide Mac EN, and I couldn't tell whether Capture One PRO's curves allows adjustment of individual RGB channels, or whether there's only a composite overall curve that applies the same moves to all three channels.
Or is it like Adobe Camera Raw/Lightroom, with a luminosity/saturation curve that locks hue?
There was a picture of the levels dialog, and there did appear to be a popup menu that looked like it would allow selection of the individual channels, but it didn't show a picture of the curves dialog, and I didn't see my particular question directly addressed in the accompanying text.
How else does Capture One PRO's curves compare and differ from Photoshop's?
Also, at exactly what point in the pipeline does Capture One PRO's curves operate? A 16-bit ProPhoto 1.0 gamma intermediary space? Or perhaps something like what Raw Developer does: converts to L*a*b* for the curves operation and then back to the native intermediary space again?
Thanks!

Hello
When it comes to levels and curves you can both work in RBG and the induvidual channels.
The switch is just above where it says "Channel:"
It is based upon what ever you are proofing to, anything else would not make sense when it would not reflect your end result!
The program it self will work in the background as LAB or RGB depending on what file you have loaded in the application however as I mentioned before Levels and Curves should reflect the end result.
Hope this helps
