installation 7.02 problem
I wanted to try the 7.02 pro version,
I was a capture one user for version 4 and 5 , but stopped using it due to perfomance issues on my mac with version 6 ...
however I always wanted to go back , and now the fuji files are supported it was time to try version 7 again , before a buy a new upgrade ...
I deleted all files related to capture one older versions
after I install 7 and run it , I want to try the 60 day trial but I always get the message "to switch from express to pro capture one needs to be relaunched"
app closes but doesn't relaunch,
when I relaunch it manually I get the same message again ... , how do I get rid of this ? seems I get stuck in the "express" version
If I will buy a license the same problem will appear probably if I don't fix this issue
I still have old catalogs with cop files on my disk which I want to keep ,could that be the reason ?
thanks for the help ...

Do you or did you have CO Express 6 running? If yes, deactivating it might help. Alternatively, deactivating your previous key from the Phase One website might help.
Sounds like there are some remains of a previous version, license wise in particular. The license related information is not accessible from Finder by default. If you keep having this issue, I suggest to contact Phase One support.0 -
And how do we deactivate that licence? There no other apps running... 0 -
Ideally you would deactivate through the software;

However, if the software isn't able to even run this obviously isn't an option.
I would suggest you rename the Application itself, from "Capture One" to "Capture One 7" or similar. Once that is done, you should be able to launch the program and avoid the cycle your stuck in.0 -
I ineed had capture one express 6 for a while but it has been removed few months ago and now want to upgrade ,
I'll try the rename option tonight and see how that goes , renaming the entire package contents ?0 -
Rename the Application after Dragging it from the Virtual Drive to the Applications folder. 0
