Viewing applied styles in layers
Hi all,
perhaps I have missed something, but I was wondering if it is possible, if applying a style to an individual layer, to easily see which style was applied.
If I apply a style to the background, then I can always go into the Modifications tab and then I see a tick against the style(s) applied. However, it seems that there is no such feature if styles are applied to layers - which is very annoying because it is difficult to remember this sometimes.
Am I missing something, or is this the case?
Thanks,
Kristian.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but applying a style to any layer in an image will cause it to show up in the Styles and Presets tool's applied (topmost) section. Is this what you're describing? 0 -

Hi Ben, that is indeed what the OP is asking and what (unfortunately) is missing.
Please note that in Capture One 11.0 the Styles and Presets tool exclusively works with the Background layer only, both regarding applying and viewing applied styles and presets. It also does not respond to changing selected layer, it always only reflects the status of the Background layer.
When applying a style/preset to an adjustments layer, the Layers tool's action menu (three dots) must be used. However, there is no indication whatsoever which style/preset was applied in that tool.
I sincerely hope that this will be added sooner or later (preferably sooner) as it limits the usability of one of the greatest additions in the development of Capture One.0
