Style previews rendering on browser rather than viewer

Hi,

I'm having a strange problem. When I scroll through the styles I've previously created I used to get a "preview" of what the style would look like on the main viewer image. But now, the preview renders on the thumbnail image in the browser!

Has anyone experienced this before? Or, better yet, know of a solution?

  I can not reproduce this behavior on a 10.7.2/6.3.2 system. Does it only occur with user-created styles or with built-in styles as well? And presets?
  
  Note that the preview change can lag behind for a second. Does it change to the style when you halt for a moment?
