Metadata sync
I'm having an issue with my metadata syncing. I have 16,000 photos from a week long job I did. The client starred and color labeled them in Capture One. When I uploaded the session(now on an external hard drive) into our lightroom catalog, the stars and colors did not get synced. I went to Capture One and noticed that I did not have 'full sync' on. So, I pressed 'full sync', but now it's still not in the metadata. Plus, now capture one is running very slow and shutting down on me. It's a mess.
Is there a step I'm missing to get these stars and colors in the metadata? I've also made sure that lightroom keeps updating the metadata whenever I try something new.
Thanks in advance!

Colors will never get synced as they are not in any of the default meta data sets. Stars should sync and sync for me from C1 to LR and back. Keywords too. 0 -

Some imaging programs will sync colour tags with Lightroom. It's a design decision; CaptureOne just isn't as ecumenical as some.
The strange thing, however, is that COP7 will in fact read Lightroom colour tags when importing a Lightroom catalog; haven't tested it myself though. Inconsistent design really.
In regard of colour tags in CaptureOne, I have a COP7 catalog which has stopped accepting star ratings and colour tags altogether. I reported this issue to P1 technical support on dec. 21., up to now without any resolution in sight.
So of course I am not at the moment using COP7 DAM features for anything mission-critical.
