Exporting descriptions

I am a fairly new user to MediaPro, but have been using C1 for many years. (ver 1.4.1.67995in Windows 7 64bit)
Recently I have been cataloguing and annotating the files rather than using sidecarfiles.
So I am entering the data, then export annotations, but the descriptions are not being exported. Author, Keywords, title, categories all fine, but no Description.
I cant seem to see any setting preferences that prohibits exporting descriptions, does anyone have a blindingly obvious solution?

  Hello John,
  No, there is no caveat i'm affraid.
  When the other meta data is exported correctly, the 'description' field should give no problem in my opinion.
  However, You could give it a try to change the setting from 'Adobe' to 'Media Pro' (Edit/Preferences/General/Field names).
  The 'Description' field is then called 'Caption' but your original description remains in the content.
