C1 and Aperture (or LR)
While I really like the Raw conversions produced by C1, the organisational features of either Aperture or LR are more extensive. Now I could try out Media Pro, but as I already have Aperture I wondered if I could make use of that investment instead. I am looking to learn from others' experience of what the best way of developing an integrated workflow using these two applications might be rather than having to pay up for yet another application.

I'm in the same boat, I use Aperture as my librarian and C1 as my converter. I export Raw files (called masters in Aperture) to a folder somewhere and edit them there. When I'm all done I bring them back into Aperture, usually with a higher star rating, as hi-res jpgs. Works great. 0 -
Thanks. I have stumbled towards basically the same approach. I have found that I can embed the keywords in the masters for export, but on reimport any hierarchy has been lost, which results in some irritating messing up of my keywords.
