Problem with skin tone selector WB
Hi, I have a problem I need to solve.
When I use the skin tone tool white balance, selecting a tone, it applies to the entire image, not just the skin.
The change should not affect only the selected region?
 Anyone else happen?
 Use a Nikon D3x
  Greetings.

If you are using a Local Adjustment you need to use the Color Editor tool and probably the Skin Tone tab since it is dedicated to to dealing with the skin tone colours of the color palette.
The WB tool is not available within a Local Adjustment at this time and so will apply to the whole image being intended to set a WB that favours skin tones within the image without too much concern for any other colours. So most likely to be used for dedicated portrait work I would assume.
I hope this is of some help.

White balancing is always affecting colours globally, whether the reference is gray or a skin tone.
If you want only skin tones to be affected, you'll want to use the Colour Editor. It even has a Skin Tone Tab.

OK, understood, thank you very much for your answer.
Take this opportunity to discuss the biggest problem I have with CO7, and I have not managed to solve with a support case.
I use an ICC profile created using a IT8 color chart for my Nikon D3X.
Use this default profile based features, and default profiles Nikon.
The problem I have is that with my ICC profiles, is that I can not use the color editor.
I've tried several, I've renamed, and will not let me use the color editor.

Anyone know what could be the problem?.
Abandonment support case where not solve or answer.
Thank you very much and greetings.0 -
Basically, only Phase One made profiles can be used with the Color Editor. This tool is actually a profile editor (sort of). Fortunately, you can save your color edits as a new camera profile.
If your custom-made profile works with the Color Editor, you are lucky.0 -
Yes, it is, but CO offers the possibility to choose a different profile for the program.
 That's one of the most interesting of CO for me;
Calibrate my camera to take color control and PLS Exaco the ICC profile. I find it very strange that this affects a fundamental tool of the program and is the editor of color.

What I tried to explain is that for its basic functionality your custom profile works fine. However, third party profiles do not facilitate the use of the Color Editor. In other words, "Color Editor support" is not built-in and not something that can be done with any ICC profile. You can see this as an additional feature that is build into the (Phase One) profiles. 0 -
Thank you very much for your answer.
In any case, I found that the ICC does not work with the color editor, it's created with an algorithm based on Gamma + Matrix-
